Probably the smallest doe we’ve ever had at our farm, being only around 120 lbs at 3 years old, Esmie makes up for it with her big personality. As a three year old, Esmie finally had triplets and had the udder capacity to match. Snug and beautiful and well-attached, I don’t think her udder will be going anywhere. Esmie moved with a couple of her friends to a wonderful new home in 2021.

​A sweet, quirky girl who grew deep and powerful with maturity. She was unable to be appraised in 2018 due to lack of mammary tissue (she did not settle in 2017 after a traumatic kidding and severe septic mastitis), but received commendation from the appraiser for her front legs and was described as a “very solid doe.” She unfortunately freshened after our early April LA session in 2019. Miss this girl.

My first little dairy doe I ever purchased (without papers) - she was so stunted and malnourished from not being fed properly. With a little TLC and a lot of groceries she blossomed and was the sweetest does. We sold her to wonderful homesteading family when we realized we wanted to take a different direction with our herd, but we will always remember our Edie. ❤️
