Kitten was a tiny 2.2 lb sprite at birth but has always been feisty and determined, nursing with no assistance even when she was smaller than a woman’ shoe. Despite her meager beginning, Kitten easily met breed height minimums as a FF and has increased strength and substance of bone over her dam. She’s sweet, easy going, an easy keeper like her dam, and has a special place in the herd.

We lost Kitten in 2024 far too soon. She lives on in our hearts and in our herd through her daughter, Fawn.

Aravis is wide-eyed girl who has a socked on mammary, especially lovely in the fore, but unfortunately went uneven a couple of weeks before kidding (cultured clear), so her future show career is uncertain. However our 2023 appraiser had many positive comments about her, especially regarding her rear legs and mammary (43 RUH, 38 RUA, and 37 FUA as a FF!). She is simply immature and needs time to grow up!

Jasmine is a large doe who needs time to come into herself as well as to develop a mammary system to match the size of her body. Her udder is well attached with a smooth foreudder, and her orifices make milking an easy job. Despite being half Nubian, Jasmine is a fairly quiet doe. She stands on strong feet and legs. As a second freshener, she has a really lovely arch and increased capacity of mammary.

Avaris has a well attached udder with a height of 42 and arch of 34, particularly smooth in the fore with 34 foreudder arch attachment, but unfortunately contracted subclinical mastitis later in the spring and went uneven. We treated her and hope she will freshen even next year. She has received comments on her front end in particular, compliments of her sire Henning. She’s done well in the milk parlor for a FF despite having mastitis, peaking at 12 lbs, and is on track to earn her 2*M after being dried off. In 2022 she cultured clear and freshened with a balanced udder!

Sadly we lost Gypsy to a rapid onset pneumonia in late October 2021 despite aggressive treatment and rushing her to Auburn University. Miss you, sweet girl.
